    Bunch of Basic Taco mods.
    Pros:
Better traction in less than perfect conditions.

    Ground clearance.

    Cons:
More rolling resistance and weight, take a bit to fuel economy.

More tendency for truck to follow grooves in the road and wander.

More susceptible to heavy cross winds/current from large passing trucks and trailers.

Basically, in my experience, give up a little on road performance for additional off road performance.

I just got these tires and they rock. I decided to keep stock suspension and stock wheels. There is a noticeable difference when driving.20210527_210807.jpg

    Yup.

when I went from 31s to 35s on my old caged prerunner the bumps felt much smoother even with the same long travel suspension. Think about mountain bikes as well. 26” tire be the taller 29er . Rolls over things easy with larger diameter . Also why trophy trucks keep running bigger and bigger tires. 37s then 40s and now larger .

I think I’m going this route. My only concern is traction in the rain on blacktop with the skinnier footprint.

As it is I have to put it in 4wd to get up and out of my stupid driveway when it’s raining.

Yikes  Nothing like aiming rainwater directly at your house :frusty: Look at the bright side, at least it's water and not snow and ice.

Bigger tires is the ONLY way to get more differential clearance
