I'm 45 years old native Texan and happily married(yep) with a 22yo daughter and 21yo step daughter. I've been into competitive shooting (USPSA, IDPA and 3-gun) for 10 years.

I bought my first muscle car last year and enjoyed tastefully moding it till it got to running low 12 second E/T's. 2000 Camaro SS. It' been a great experience but I don't enjoy it like I used to and plan to sell it.

Been looking for a 2.7 5 speed extended or reg cab in excellent condition. I owned an 03 DC Prerunner V6 auto a few years ago but don't miss the DC, auto or the 2wd.

I'm not a bit scared of high mileage cars. I currently have a 98 Camry with 322K, a2000 Camaro with 195K than runs low 12's, and a 03 Tahoe 4wd with 210K. I'm hands on and do most of my own maintenance.

I'm been a machinist since I was joined the Navy(93-97).

Thanks for a refreshing intro post!

It's nice to see newbies with skills/experience in automotive things. Sure, Tacomas have quirks unique to them, but 80% of the legit technical questions around here are pretty generic in nature.

And you didn't start off asking about big wheels, big tires, big lift and wheel spacers, plasti dip and LEDs. That's unusual.

    Welcome!

Thanks guys for the warm welcome. No big wheels for me. Some old school 31x10.50's will be my big tires if I go that big. I'm planning to keep my truck as practical as I can stand. It will be a DD.
Here's a photo of the 2000 Camaro SS. Probably going to put it up for sale soon. I've kind of lost interest and don't want to dump any more money into something I'm not enjoy enough. It has been a ton of fun taking this car from running 13.6 down to 12.0 1/4 mile. :)
