Noob here with wheel question

I have been seaching/lurking here for a couple of days. My question is I just purchased a 2003 Ext. Cab SR5 TwoWD. What are my options on OEM wheels? Can I go to a 17 inch? Will the bolt pattern for an 03 work on 05 or 09 OEM wheels. There are alloys on it now I believe they are SE wheels. Not sure.

 

By SR5 do you mean a PreRunner with 6 lugnuts?

If so, yes, all the wheels are interchangeable, assuming you don't have brake caliper clearance issues (usually going down in size on some models)

You just have to pick the right tire size to avoid clearance issues.

Same rules would apply to 3rd gen wheels fitting your truck.

Looks like you might want/need a 3/4" spacer to clear the frame do to about 1/2" more backspacing on the 2/3 gens wheels.
