Finally traded in the Ram and joined the Tacoma world. Iv been doing a lot of research and just want to make sure I have it all down before I pull the trigger.

I’m planning on going with Bilsteins 5100 all around and set the front to 1.75

Then a 1.5” AAL in the rear and remove the overlords.

And top it off with 265/70/17 tires and keep the stock rims For my 2018 trd sport.

Anything else I’m forgetting or should know as I am pretty new to this? Thank you

Looks good to me! I think some people add a spacer on the driver side to reduce the "taco lean"

Suggest upgraded front coils to create lift and set shocks on 0.

Suggest no AAL with a updated leaf pack instead.

Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road can help either way

Thank you! Happy to finally be here. Yeah I just want to make sure I’m not forgetting anything. Is the Taco lean pretty noticeable?

Also nothing wrong with the Ram, I have just been eyeing the Tacoma for a while now.

What coils would you recommend, 885? Also bare with me but what updated leaf pack are you talking about? I’ll probably be asking some stupid questions here just FYI haha

Both depend on a number of factors. Im not in that biz. Its why I suggest you let Marie help you out.

She'll ask the right Q's and have the right A's.

I know that much, what specifically?
Header bolts snap, I know that much, newer ones have ac issues, I’m more interested in how drivetrain is

I'm looking to do the same thing. Is this a job I can do on my own in my garage?

I believe transmission issues. But also that the 2017 RAMs had something like 19 recalls total already.

You don’t need a lift but I don’t recommend a job like this if this is your first time..
