Howdy fellow taco dudes and dudettes,
I have just got a new 4.0 v6 TRD off road double cab taco with JBL and all the buttons are occupied. After a long research on trucks I went with something just 2 years ago I would have never thought I would drive, A toyota. But as some say never say never. I do like this little truck and the reliability factor i think is what sold me.
I have already browsed the forums to get some very useful info and I think this site will have me reading maybe more than the VW vortex site.
My first new car was a 87 mustang GT, then I got a saleen mustang followed by an explorer and two f150's. A ford guy you could say. I ventured away from ford when I discovered a GLI jetta 03 2.8 V6, It handled, it was fast and drove like no car I have driven before. The biggest selling point was the interior, porsche like, all black leather. I loved that car until I found the Audi A3 s-line. That car was my fav but it was a little crampy so I traded the a3 for a VW tiguan. Again VW/audis interior and styling to me is second to none. I still have the tiguan and traded my Honda 08 crv in for the taco. So thats where I am today. The garage houses the VW and unfortunately that keeps the Taco in the driveway.
Couple of things I wished that the taco offered , black leather, HID and navi. I got a navi on the come from crutchfield and will show pics when it arrives and is installed. I am also thinking about making a install how to on the nav with video. Anyone have a link to a good set of HID lights I would really appreciate it. :D
Here is the Taco at its new home.
