Do I torque the wheels when it's jacked up, or when they're back on the ground? (Apologies for such an ignorant question, I just don't wanna fuck 'em up :D)

I always get them snug when they are still up in the air, then torque them when I let the truck down. Not sure if this is the 100% correct method but trying to torque them down when the wheels are off the ground is a little tricky, trying to keep 'em from spinning and all.

I think the important thing is, with aluminum rims especially, is to re-torque them after X number of miles.
(I say X because I always used to do it after 100 miles but then I read on my reciept from the tire store to do it after 25).
