Can someone help me? I'm looking around online and starting to think I'm crazy because I can't find anything about whether or not 285/75r16's will fit if I change them for my current tires at 265/70r16. All of the stickies are explain that the second number is a certain percentage, but never if the width will actually be the same. Any help will be awesome. Thanks.

Very helpful thank you. But just to clear it up, I basically need to find a tire that has a "70" for the ratio OR do you think I can make a "75" fit? Finding 285/70r16's is very difficult. Its not a common tire.
