I started feeling drops of rain tonight when I was at target getting some stuff. I'm taking the advice from here. I just strapped the kayak to the tapui. drove down a few back roads around me at 65 MPH and it didn't move. So I'm taking the Kayak.

18 pack of coors light in the freezer for 24 hours and they're still not frozen?!? I left one in the freezer a few weeks ago for 2 hrs and it was a rock. WTF!?!

Either way, cold beer at camp tonight. Ahhhhh that sounds good!

Did you freeze them in the box? All that trapped air will insulate them really well.

You could also just put the whole cooler in a walk in freezer. I figure several hours at -10F should be a good start.

Here's a trick to freeze anything in a bottle/can (besides hard alch):
Wrap a damp/moist paper towel over the bottle/can and put it in the freezer. Will be frozen in like 15-30 mins

Alright, they're outta the box and wrapped in damp towels. Thanks guys.

Jerry, that's not a bad plan. The fridge would pay for itself quickly w $20 ice cream bars in the trail...
