Never been to the area... Is there a safe place to shoot? Or is it too "populated"

I'm already heading up there the weekend after on the 17th and 18th. However, I see no reason not to go two weekends in a row. I supposed I could make this TacomaWorld trip wheeling intensive and make the following weekend a mountain biking trip.

Please put me down as a maybe leaning toward going.

Anyone's wife or girlfriend and kids going? Trying to talk the wife to go because my daughter loves camping and other wives would help my cause.
