I am leaving Alameda as soon as my wife gets outta work, between 11-12 on Friday. If that works out to caravan with anyone, I'd be stoked.

If anyone wants to save me a spot at the lake, that'd be cool. Then again you'd be next to a baby, a snoring bear, and a "squeaky mattress". I got no qualms camping down the trail if need be though .

Gotta try and fit in spark plugs, lbj's, and ecgs needle bearing upgrade beforehand :censored:

A lot of crap and too much money spent
I wouldn't be able to head up to early. I would have to leave from work. I might be able to get out of there around three and leave straight from the desk.

This might be a good time for me, if there are no spots I could do the camping up the trail a bit thing.

Hopefully but I'm sure it won't be too bad finding a spot on the trail.

I'm bringing my mountain bike this time so if anyone wants to go for a ride I'm down.

Also, anyone have a fryer they can bring? I can use a pot, but a fryer is easier to regulate the temperature.

So the wife and I are planning a trip up to Mt. Shasta, then to Crater Lake Oregon, and on the way back home were going to meet up with you guys on friday and stay for the weekend. Should be a great ending to a trip we're really looking forward to!

We can try to fit trucks into sites. the ones on the end of the lake are big. There is also little gold lake right next door. easy walking distance. Ive seen whole boy scout troops park there. If someone could claim all of little gold lake that would be cool. Then we can keep boats and stuff on the big lake and people can walk over. Worst case some of us head up the hill and dispersed camp in national forest about a mile away up the trail.

That sounds HELLA fun. I'm feeling an Oregon exploration trip.

I'm here with:popcorn: to see how you guys fare on scoring spots... I wish everyone the best, I just know how packed it can get on the summer weekends... I mean we were lucky to snag that site a few weeks back. Jason had to use his charm and good looks just to get us in!
