    Hey y’all,

Tried searching for a threat but couldn’t find anything. Looking for a trusted independent mechanic in the Bay Area but am willing to travel. Any recommendations? I’ve got an oil leak that I can’t, for the life of me, isolate the source of.

    thanks,

    -Josh

I heard Steve’s Auto Care in Novato is good. I believe he use to be a Toyota dealer mechanic.

Do they actually contact you back after reaching out? Because I had zero luck with that.

Bay Truck Accessories (Daly City) has been stellar though. Had them do my sliders, OME suspension, wheels, tires & alignment. Solid work. Lots of good communication, and follow-up after just to see how things were going.

Estimates, timing, final price... etc. were all spot-on. No BS.

My neighbor who does most of his own work on his Tundra was really happy with this place when he needed a mechanic.
