Well he didn't do a good job. we were able to move the obsticles by hand or just drive around. It's public land. He doesn't own that shit. Its not like were going to be up there every weekend now.

sigh* people who feel entitled to public land.
Thanks Jerry for letting us know about this spot.

I had a great time on one of my last off road and camping trips in Cali for a while. It was great to meet up again and hangout with some of the people that I first met from this site and just kick back and shoot the shit one last time. And it was also great to meet a few other new faces. I dont think I could have asked for a better weekend of camping with the great weather (I was prepared for the COLD) and the better food (thanks again Jerry).
And definitely If anyone want to venture out to Colorado for some snow or wheeling feel free to send me a PM and you can crash at my place for a few nights.

    Right.

    Anything on this list: http://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/stelprdb5377308.pdf

    Isn't exactly a secret.

But some campgrounds are more well known than others, and folks understandably like to be able to go to a place that everyone else has overlooked.

So keeping the location of a nice campground off the interwebz is about the most you can do to in hopes that the next time you want to use a spot - someone else didn't get there first.

That said, like Seth said, it's public lands, and it's first come, first served. Ol man Willys clearly doesn't quite understand that.

Monday morning controversy aside - looks like you boys had a great time.

Its not the secrecy of the place that keeps it low key and not a lot of people. I would say its the amount of rough dirt road required to get there that keeps it the way it is and that isn't going to change.

The guy in the Willy's should be more pissed with the quad/mc group tearing the shit out of the area around the lake.

idk. Pushing rocks or large tree stumps down the side of a hill isn't the smartest thing in the world either.

Does anyone want to help me chop it and make it look decent? All I can do is crop it and call it a day :(
