Dang.. I just realized this is 6 hours away from SF and my GF gets off work at 11pm that Friday.. Anyone see a problem with me showing up at 5am? Lol..

Guess I'll just have to try and be quiet while setting up the tent and what not.

These are the coordinates that MJ provided before and it's not that far. I think the google maps of it makes it look further. I would just drive up the morning of, it will be easier and I plan to do that since I'll be coming from Tahoe.

It only takes about 3-3.5 hours from SF to the trail if you use the coordinates MJ posted. Leave at 5 and get there around 8-9am.

No worries, I prefer to leave in the mornings if I can't get off of work. I can't stand sitting in Bay Area traffic on a Friday. I think we will be starting at 9, but we'll see when it gets closer. I'll be heading over in the morning as well.

Is there a plan for a group to drive over together from the Bay Area? Also, for those of us off-road newbies, can you give us a list of some must bring stuff, things we'll need, etc. Not all of us are "jberry prepared!"

Still undecided on the mountain bike, though it would go on the roof rack. Does anyone else bike?

Edit: I've reviewed this so I suppose that should be revised to, anything specific for this trip?!

Be careful off roading with your bike on the roof rack. It'll away back and forth and can stress or damage the rack. I broke the crap outta my hitch rack that way.

Lol, thanks for the heads up. I probably won't bring it unless someone else wants to bike and brings their bike too. I'm assuming we need to pack in food and drink for the whole weekend right?

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Okay guys this is looking to be a good turn out with a lot of BAMF customers so to show our appreciation and make the trip a little better for all we will be serving you all BBQed TriTip sandwiches on Saturday evening.

If someone wants to go in on sides that would be great but the main course is on BAMF!

Ill need a head count the week of so i get enough meat so @MJonAgs32 if you can keep that list up to date that would be great. Also make sure you guys let him know if you will have passengers as they will need some food too!
