I should send you some of the shit my sister talks about. She's not a hippy, actually a right leaning independent, but she's a water conservation engineer. The stuff she's shown me is haunting. She's been working with some NASA groups on underground water levels and whatnot. We are in serious trouble.
Although the state is looking at desal plants. San Diego is building a MASSIVE one. Conveniently named 'Poseidon'. I guess time will tell.

Nevermind 3/4 of California's water consumption comes from agriculture and irrigating former deserts for crops. Everyone in the state could stop showering for the rest of the year and CA would still run out of water.

Exactly my point. As a state, we need a major change and not just from the common consumer. We do hold the purchase power though. Farming and industry are the states biggest users of water by far.

Yep, which produces over 70% of certain nuts, fruits, and veggies for the entire US. Part of me wishes CA would run pipelines and aqueducts from states up north where rain is an abundance. We did it to SoCal.

Yup... But just wait till how many "rolling blackouts" we have this summer... Hopefully we figure out the solution before it happens....

I wouldn't wager on it. Trends over the past years have been decreasing. I stopped my pass in 2010. Haven't regretted it. Especially since Vail bought em out. Now it's just ran as a tourist attraction. I miss the old days of locals and barely anyone on the slopes. Now it's your busses, and slope front access from the Ritz. Not my style.

It'll probably be smart if some of us go earlier to save a spot that can accommodate our group
