I don't want to jack this thread to much but I figured I could get your guys opinion the quickest here.

I did a little cutting on my center console and got the CB to sit back a little further into the hole. I can get it to go back about another inch if I cut the rest of the right side off and the top lip of the other trim piece. I think I will make it so I can pull it out when not using it and have the cup holders.

Rah! Amazing that someone who can replace a door that fast couldn't fix a lil' 'ol parking brake beforehand, eh?

I'm just bustin' your chops because I suspect there are some others out there who just might perhaps be procrastinating on fixing a lazy parking brake. How important could it be, right? :D

haha well it was fixed at one point. then 6 months later it started to fail again. Now it works just sometimes. But yea, next time I take the rear tires off, I'll have to clean out the drums. I think an old axle seal leak is still causing the problem

What kind of sliders are most of you running, the HREW or DOM tubing. Getting ready to get a set and I want to make sure I get the right ones. I know the the HREW's are cheaper, can they handle abuse like on this trail?

Most people are using Jerry's at BAMF so what ever he uses on his. I think I remember him saying one day he will make them out of something else if you want but his usual tubing is pretty NAR to begin with.

    ...too much shit to list.
There's pretty much no point in using DOM unless you've already got the metal. Sliders are meant to be abused and they're not really going to split on a seam because of a hard hit. Use DOM for anything structural.

Get HREW. It's all that Jerry uses and will be more than fine for any kind of wheeling most of us will see.

BTW, bummed I missed out on this one. Looks like a great time both on and off the trail. Definitely count me in on the next one (which according to MJ is at my cabin...I'll be working on that).
