I'm still in. Looking forward to Hell Hole. Never ran it!

Oh and count me in on Jerry's food list for now. Unless things change this will be easier!

There is only one spot that's "hard" all the rest of the trail is not too bad. But body damage is always possible on any trail.

Of course, I am willing to assume the risk within reason. After all, this is not a tea party :)

With the exception of the optional obstacles, Niagara Rim is a moderate trail. For this reason it has great appeal for vehicles of all levels...(http://4x4trailmaps.com/4x4Trails.php?Trail_ID=78). Niagara Rim is harder is you make it that way but there are plenty of ways around the tough stuff.

There are no options on Hell Hole, what you see in front of you is what you are going through. For those on the fence I would look up some pics from last years thread. Its definitely not Fordyce or the Con.. but it makes Slickrock feel like Eagle Lakes ;)

Humm I didn't think it was that hard when we ran it and I wouldn't even put it in the same sentence as Fordyce.

Sure it's a "hard" trail but nothing a truck with 33" tires, Rock Sliders and one locker can't handle.

I would think it is you will only need the winch on the way out if you can't get up at the tree and I will be set up right at the top to pull anyone that needs it. We had a few guys need pulled up it last time but with the right line you can make it up without a winch.

Just note the danger for body damage the risk is high on this trail and I don't want people freaking out when we get to the tree wanting to turn around mid trail. Anyone that turns around from second thoughts would be on their own going back to the road.

Do you think i would make it with lsd in the rear or should i just count myself out? I have looked at the videos and i think i can make through with some two foot action.worse case a little winching. But i dont want to be ass and slow everyone down.

You would have a hard time on the way back out but coming in shouldn't be a problem.

And I agree. Everyone made it through just fine with our group, minus a few dings underneath. I just want to give a heads up because there are a lot of nice rigs on here and its quite a bit more technical than the other trails we've run.
