Grow up guys! Not everyone shares the same TW love as some of us. Dont hate on guys tring to make a few dollars. Hell some of the well beloved vendors on here are charging more then others but you still buy from.

Here's the deal. We're a pretty tight knit group around here, for the most part. And we take pride on being helpful, generous, and hooking a local brother up when we can.

This deal just smells like one that doesn't fit into the above categories.

 

Bottom line is I offered up my property at a 33% discount to this group. You guys didn't think that was a good enough discount and threw a hissy fit. Grow the fuck up.

You know I'm pretty laid back and don't get too involved in a lot of the disagreement and such on TW but for some reason your really starting to irritate the fuck out of me....

I know were a tight group or we like to think so, but I know a few guys that make a living buying and selling used shit on CL then selling it through other sources. You shouldn't hate on that, just don't buy from him if it bothers you., the thing that bugs me about how this, was the way it was handled, and none of them even needed the sliders or wanted them, they just wanted pick a fight, and a fight they got.

I know you aren't on my side or thinking I'm perfectly innocent. But I appreciate what you are saying here. I am just bummed that I couldn't give someone here the sliders. I can't afford to miss out on money like some of these guys apparently can but was happy to sell them cheaper than what I could get on craigslist.

 

The fact that he foung the deal thanks to this very thread, bought them and then marked up price and tried to sell on same thread is pretty fucked up. No matter how ya look at it.

 

I've already explained what happened. I paid 150+ I had an offer out for a $50 finders fee. When I made the ad I thought I was out $200 was literally just trying to get my costs back. It turns out the guy didn't want the finders fee. Was I supposed to tell the guy who wanted to pay me 200 never mind?
