Before I put this stuff on CL, anyone here interested?

Thule Insta-Gater bike carrier. (I have 2 to sell)
Its a in-bed, wheel-on bike carrier. (FYI, this mount will not carry a 29er with a short bed)
    https://www.thule.com/en-us/us/bike-rack/truck-bed-bike-racks/thule-insta-gater-501-_-18344
    $125 each

    Yakima Outdoorsman
    one pair, includes round crossbar.
I had this on a 1st Gen Tundra. Not sure if/how if would fit a Taco, but you may have other truck applications...
    https://www.yakima.com/outdoorsman
    $100

Yakima Q Tower, 1 pair (2pack) includes round crossbar. You'll need the Q Clip thats specifically designed for your vehicle.
    https://www.yakima.com/q-towers-2-pack.
    $50

I can meet on the 99 corridor from Modesto to Fresno, but the closer to Merced, the better!

    ...too much shit to list.
Specific to the 10.5...sure there are purist out there that want to keep everything toyota, but you can build a complete 9" without a single part in it made by Ford. And in addition:

No pinion support like the 9"
WAY less aftermarket parts and support
Requires 17" wheels to clear the calipers/rotors
Huge calipers (by rear axle standards) and factory master cylinder doesn't have enough plunge to push the calipers vs wheel cylinders
Pinon flange does not match driveshaft flange so you have to machine it out
Only reputable aftermarket gear (not china) size available is 4.88 (stock is 4.10 or 4.30)
5x150 bolt pattern rather than 6x5.5 which means machining out new bolt patterns in rotors and axles or wheel spacer adapters
Only available in low pinion configuration
And it's still a semi-float axle...for the price you'd pay you could get a 14 bolt which would be full floater and also a 10.5" ring gear with WMS-WMS up to 73"

But yeah. It's a big fucking ring gear with 36 spline axles that are around 1.4" in diameter

My doors are the only stock things left besides the headlights
Yea it's not bad to finish one really.

Yea there are those options but the 9" has alllllllll the options for everything you would ever want, and can be built soo tough and easy it's absurd. Go to any car race.... most are 9"ers for a reason.

You can even run 10" ring gears in a ford 9" setup depending on your application. Regardless if your going for aftermarket housings and axle builds you can't go wrong with the 9

Not to mention thanks to NASCAR, you can get gear ratios in every 1-2% increments.

Wait do you mean '84 for the 4Runner? And are you getting rid of the axle?

    Same for the wagoneer, axle?

Yes to both if you're talking axle.

Yes, I meant 1984, good catch, error corrected.

No axle housings or diffs, just pointing out that the source vehicles had a factory solid front axle,
with leaf-spring suspension which not everyone may be aware of.

Anyone else looking for a spare? The accountant might make me sleep in the truck if I brought home a set of wheels.... But been looking for a single spare rim. At this price I'd consider taking two if one or two other people were looking for singles too
