I'm looking for a set of 265-70-17 or 265-65-17 for my wife's 4Runner. Cheap! I just had to sink a bunch of money into my college daughters car and that was my tire and prerunner budget money for the summer.

Not buying in this environment. Already went down that road and decided we weren't going to buy. Also no need for a commuter when my fuel is reimbursed. Eventually I'll get a work truck but that's in due time.

Meh, no thank you. A housing crash would hit the entire market like it did in '08. It's definitely a sellers market right now. I sold my old house above asking, but we also bought our new house 15k below asking in December.

There's good deals out there and opportunity if you know how to negotiate and leverage closing costs/etc.

bought my lil beater house in 08 for 66K. Dumped about 10K into her. Worth 220K now. I would like to sell and buy in a nicer area. Its a scary move since the wife doesn't seem motivated to work

when fixer uppers are 350k, theres no hope for anyone. I have family who are Agents and Loan Consultants. Without me losing 100% of my inheritance, theres no chance ill pay what they demand currently.

Also theres no way a hit again will replicate 08. It will be a small correction, not a crash.

To be 100% clear, i can easily pay the mortgage and all that it entails. Its me personally refusing to pay that ransom every month. I will not do it, not at these prices.

It probably won't be like 2008, but prices on the outskirts of the bay will drop. Good decision to wait.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
We bought extreamly low 6 years ago and have made well over 400k on the house. Were getting ready to sell and move to Benicia the market is not as aggressive out here as it is in out area so were going to pretty much double our house and stay around the same loan as we have now. The market is high but the high end houses are staying pretty flat as not many are moving near the 7 figure range in Benicia that's good for us.

The bay area is no joke the south bay is retarded! I've seen 1000 square foot shacks listed for 1.5 million.

its even more dumb that we had my family house in Lake Almanor appraised for insurances after my grandma passed, $150k. Anywhere around here where we live it would be an easy 800+. Its ridiculous in the bay area and now the outer bay area.
