It still runs. You can make it into an off road rig.

    LOL. "Toyota Racing Supercharger kit"

Yes it's a good deal if it's all there. Find out how many miles are on it. General rule is to replace the s/c oil every 30k miles. Also ask him for an actual picture of the unit, and not one he stole from TRDParts4U (http://trdparts4u.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=-8162). The picture he put on there is the how it comes brand new, strapped to a pallet box (ask me how I know).

    IMG_2772_6209aee7a68fca515ac20e13f86cd848001f4830.jpg

The other things you need to worry about is any play in the nose pulley. If you can push in/out on the nose pulley and there is substantial play, you'll have to replace the nose drive. These superchargers are supposed to be 100k maintenence free, but Magnuson recommends the nose drive to be replaced with a rebuild/new one every 60k to prevent metal shavings from developing and damaging the main bearing. You also want to inspect the nose seal as well. If its leaking oil (as mine is), you'll have to keep an eye on the oil level. Some very small leaking is normal, but after I took mine for a swim it leaks a little more than most. I call it an automatic oil change.

Also inspect the external bypass valve (the thing with the yellow sticker on it in the picture). It has a rubber diaphram that can develop a hole after time (which equates to a vacuum leak). Again a replaceable part, but something to look at. You can see the diaphram and check for holes by opening/closing the bypass valve.

    Lastly, here's the installation manaul:
    http://trdparts4u.com/ProdPDF/TRD_PTR29-89020_3400CC.pdf

First couple pages has the parts list. Make sure the dynamic tensioner, the plate, and bolts are inluded. If not, that's another $275 you'll have to come up with. Some parts are not reusable. You'll probably have to buy a new throttle body gasket, belt and a check valve.
