Last Christmas my wife finally won the big tv she’s been wanting at her company party. The box was just big enough that I couldn’t close the tailgate. I strapped it in easily by running straps across my bed stiffeners, but when we went to unload she says, ‘I don’t remember you having this before”. I quickly pointed out how useful they had just been and she could only agree.

The mods you can hide are soooooo much easier. Good luck hiding a frickin swing out. Maybe color match it? And say it was there the whole time...

 

tell her your buddy wrecked his truck and needed a couple bucks to pay the deductable and you got it for 50 bucks and a 6pk of cheap beer. that works to sometimes. oh, never have a joint bank account. doesnt work out for a happy relationship..trust me. also sucks if you get divorced.

I’m always down for mini mod day. Just did my cab chop last weekend on my truck and @TOP TACO did his ecgs that turned out well for him.

 

I have a first gen drive shaft for sale. Was for a 2000 4x4 v6 extra cab MT and is 66 inches long. Joints seem good. Unsure of compatibility with other 1st gens. Getting rid of my 1st gen and no longer need this for backup. I'm in Mendocino county but I head down to Santa Rosa once a month or so. Could drop it off there when convenient. $150
