OH and potentially a t-case mobtown offroad skid non-reroute. No need to have the mid skid to run this. - $250

I’m not particularly sentimental about inanimate objects but I am somewhat about Zero. My dog and I walked away from the roll with no damage and that’s 100% because of the strength of the camper. My truck actually rolled onto the camper, which prevented a full roll over - there’s still a dent in my room from where the cab-over impacted the roof of my truck. Pretty nuts how strong it is. What actually sustained the most damage was actually the pieces that mounted it to the bed rail - and I just bought new ones locally and carried on. I have some of the broken ones I need to give Phil for demos.

I’ll totally admit to being a shill for Vagabond - I paid full price for my camper and would do it again in a heart beat. Not only did it prevent serious injury to me (and more importantly my dog), but the product is such a game changer for camping.

One of my local shops is a Four Wheel Camper dealer and I got to check out their offerings for the Tacoma (including the flat bed model) and honestly the Vagabond blows it out of the water. It’s like 1/4 the weight and 1/4 the price - you won’t break the bank and its light enough you can run it on a stock truck.

I may have tweaked a few things...
I’m interested in seeing if that rear stock skid will cover my fumoto valve a little bit. I understand that skid is the same part number on 2nd gen. It doesn’t make sense for me right now to buy real armor but I’d feel better knowing my truck doesn’t have the same weakness the Death Star did.

    Edit for reference:
