Thanks for getting this thing started. We're across the street from the Coffee/Piner evac area and are hoping we don't get the knock.

Hey folks, looking for trucks to transport feed and supplys from solano county fairgrounds to redwood valley. I've got a truckload for myself, and they're looking for a couple more trucks. It's for the animals that have been evacuated. I'll get phone number to contact the folks. Wife dropped off supplys yesterday and they asked for help.

If you don't want to transport, they're looking for help at the fairgrounds too.

A lot of the evac orders have been lifted but there are still neighborhoods at risk. https://srcity.org/610/Emergency-Information

My parents were able to start remediation for smoke damage now that their home isn't in the mandatory evac zone anymore. They are still under a boil water notice at this time and do not have natural gas back on yet.

I would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support. It has been 7 days since the firestorm that razed my home and it feels like yesterday. Met with Blake @tacomgee and the encounter reminded me that the lower grill on my parts shelf that was a hand-me down from him via @T4RFTMFW was lost as well. Blake pointed out that material stuff can be replaced but life cannot. Damn right. If anything this has brought my family, friends and our community together in a way that I'm not sure ever would have happened if this apocalypse had not destroyed northern Santa Rosa.

Thank you TacomaWorld, you were already my daily escape and new group of friends, now it is so much more.

Special thanks to @Cuffs for organizing this assistance drive and to @tacomgee for letting me get mail at his place as my business address is within the evac zone, no power for now.

I hope everyone still in danger is ok and they put out this abomination

Always here as a truck lover and fire friend, I know what it is...

There will be more as the TW love continues to roll in.

    Food for thought...

Things you lost will continue to pop up. It’s been three months for us and even this week we are recalling new things.

File for any assistance. Whether you want it or need it. File for it. (Lessons learned on my end)

Reach out to folks if they offer help (in any form). They mean it genuinely.

PTSD is a real thing. I’m still having it (never thought this was such an event to trigger such a thing). It will likely happen to you. Reach out to any of us that are just a call or text away.

Any govt meetings that you can get to, go. Take notes. Names. Numbers.

Start a log/journal. Dates times places, insurance info, claim info...

Get some large Manila envelopes for receipts. Food lodging replacements rent living expenses.

Myself and family are still not able to check on our ranch. Hwy 128 is still being blocked off by law enforcement. Kron4 interactive map doesn't show our property.

As of now we are staying at my apartment in Napa, just waiting for the road to open.

Just reminding anybody in need, my friend has an office at 120 Stony Point Rd Santa Rosa with supplies, clothing/blankets/etc,.

@IronPeak went down yesterday for some needed clothing - please encourage anybody else who needs some of these basics to get down there and help yourselves.

He can probably elaborate on specifics of what is available there as well. No food to my knowledge, possibly some toiletries?

I was literally on my way to costco to purchase the items that were available at the office on stony pont rd. There were lots of mens dress shirts in large, sportswear , blankets, socks , womens clothing /socks/pops, towels. Water, fruit. Im sure there was more things i am not listing as i was able to fill my immediate needs with the t's and socks and was in a hurry to get to costco before they closed to pick up my friends prius /tire replace there he blew a sidewall on a curb fleeing the blaze.

There is tons of stuff there my list is surely incomplete. The persons distributing the items were very kind and accommodating and I would encourage anyone to go on down there

Hey folks. My name is Richard Nguyen. I currently live in San Diego but lived in Santa Rosa for about 19 years. I am completely devastated by the situation you folks are dealing with. I can only imagine what it's like to go through this in person.

I have reached out to the folks in my community and they want to do nothing but help. However, I have talked to The Salvation Army and a few other organizations and they all said they will refuse my donations because they are overfilled with donations.

My plan was to rent a trailer and haul up as much as I could. But with them denying me, that wouldn't be so smart. So what I think would be a better idea is to reach out to a few individuals and see what they need/want and I will try my best to accommodate.

If there is anything in particular or needed, please let me know. I will be leaving San Diego on the 26th and will be there till the 29th.
