It’s a bomb-ass technique. Takes a bit to get the hang of it, but once you do, it’s game over for the fish. Lol

Looks awesome man! The one rod pairs nicely with that Revo Ike reel too. Awesome colors!

Yeah, I bought the reel separate so it was nice to see it matched like perfectly!

@Porter707 Love the new truck! Any plans to make it a fish-mobile type of truck? Rod tubes in the back and whatnot? Or making it another overland-style rig?

Nah not going crazy with this one. Going to eventual put a small lift/35s on it and that’s about it. Maybe one day down the road look at a FWC or something.

With a truck like that to pull it, you’re gonna need a bigger boat

First thing I told Monica ‘My boats going to look so small behind it, guess I got to get a bigger boat to make it look good’. Haha

@jamesfishn09 have you heard/seen any update on lake Sonoma? I looked just a bit ago on the army Corp website and it still has the message about only the one boat ramp open but on google maps the access to places like yorty are no longer listed as; “temporarily” closed. Making me wonder if it finally opened up fully.

    I haven’t seen. I would call a local bait/tackle shop and ask.

I just called and Yorty Creek and all campgrounds are still closed. You can still launch at main ramp but that’s it.

more smallies. just under the limit. but truthfully, 5 3/4" is alot of work cooking and cracking for not alot of meat. was still good to get out there though
