Looks good! We cooked up our fish too. Boy and I ate trout both Friday and Saturday.

Butter, lemon, old bay, cooked over the campfire (not the stove in pic). Delicious

    Dam that looks goood.

We were gathering fish from multiple days so we cleaned them, dash of lemon pepper and butter then wrapped them up in foil and put them in the fridge (cuz, ya know, out of every wheelin group SOMEONE has a fridge setup lol). So by the 3rd day or so we just tossed em on the grill still in the foil.

question: is it worth updating old spinnerbaits with new skirt collars and skirts?

Depends on the condition of them. Are they all ate up and brittle/falling apart? Sometimes it might be cheaper to just buy new spinnerbaits.

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
depends on the other parts. Paint, swivels, blades, etc. I recently threw mine out and went with new, the paint was chipping and the hooks needed sharpening. They were hand-me-downs from my old man. Threw me out, but not before pulling the blades and spinners off if new ones failed/broke at some point. I have a small Plano hook tray with spare skirts, rings, swivels, etc.

I totally miss-typed that message earlier. It wont be next week, but the week of July 4th... like the 28th-1st area. Ill be up by Roseburg area fishing the Umpqua river. If you're still up that way when I make it up (if I do on Sunday) maybe we can meet up somewhere along the highway!

Must have been lost with your invitation as well.

I’ll be on Berryessa in the morning. Going to launch early and hope to get out before noon. Going to be warm and fishing has been hot.
