I didn't get out, had in laws come into town. I did get to knock a few things off my to do list though.
    • Raised transom an inch and a half, now the cavitation plate sits flush with the bottom of the boat.
    • Bolted motor through the transom so it doesn't fall off, which would be my luck.
    • Got two pole holders on the back for trolling.
    • Made a custom gas line so there isn't as much slack as there was.
I tried to get out of everything on this long weekend, but alas I did not win. Next weekend, barring any acts of god I will be out (and weather).

Welp just put in an order for TW. Ended up with another spinning reel and a 2-piece Phenix spinning rod to keep in my truck at all times in case I see some good water if I’m out exploring.

I was safely not shopping, but fishing. Got handed a giant skunk when a 2lb bass took to the air and kicked my hook. :)

thw wind whipped up fast and we were far from the launch. Waves were cresting over into my kayak. But still all in all very stable.

I’m wishing for early spring going into summer. Fall to winter is tough!

Do I see a few Galvan reels? Nice collection. I've never lined mine up like that but I have quite a few.

Tide must have been up. Should have known his jacket was going to activate. Dumass. And why doesn't he secure that paddle? Waiting for that to go floating away. Guy hooks up a lot, though. Fun day, y'all.

No. Little midges. Fish roam the shoreline.

Annoyed me how he throws the fish. I’m much more gentle.
