NORCAL: Slick Rock and Corral Hollow wheeling trip 6/9/12

I'm pretty sure I'll be running with you guys. I may leave late Friday and camp out @ Mt. Reba and meet you guys at the trailhead or try and tag along with the Saturday morning arrivals. See ya' then.

 

Bump! Less than a week away. All the "maybe camping" folks and "maybe" folks, update us on your status sometime this week.

Nice, I'll finally see your runner in action! We need to run eagle lake or bear valley loop sometime!

 

I'll be in the Friday camping group, figuring on meeting up at the Stockton Autozone meeting site.

Looks sunny to me this weekend. I doubt this system will throw a kink into our plans. By next weekend should be dry for the most part. A little extra challenge never hurts any how. First time out at Slick rock I had to turn around at last obstacle. Went back thru the trail: uphill, in the rain, completely stock with just sliders. Good times.

 

Hey guys, I'm going to have to bow out of this one. I have a lot of things coming up that I need to take care of so I won't be free Saturday. At the same time, I don't think I have enough armor to feel good about going all out. You guys have fun and I'll see everyone on the next adventure.

Just come up late Friday night that's what me and Alvin did last time it's way better then driving in the morning.

Hey Cha do you know who Philly is from NorCal FJs? S/He posted that s/he was down in the first thread (the one mutato made us move from) but haven't heard from since.

 

what time are you heading out friday?

 

Sometime in the afternoon, maybe? I want to wait if I get the skids in in time. If they come in that morning, then I'm going to install them before I head up. Don't really think it matters to Jerry and Eric either. If they don't come in at all, then I'm open to leave whenever

 

I know of him and have wheeled with him on different occasions. I don't have a way of contacting him other than thru NorcalFJ.

 

ah I see, I don't get off work til 7pm. I may try to roll up the night before, if not I'd be coming to meet up sat morning.
