brian - yeah I'm going either way. I was able to hang with some of the guys at the first part of Fordyce with no locker, so I should be ok.

oh also, I can't change the date. sorry bud :D

DangerTaco - I would really advise against using your nerf bars. Just not a good idea

Not recommended, if you like your rocker panels.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Not going to happen without body damage didn't you say you had a Prerunner anyway  these trails are 4wd only.

You guys know my truck. Reg cab, 3" lift, 33" tires, sliders with kickout, no bumpers, no skids. Locked front and back.

There's never any guarantees and sometimes shit happens. But are my chances of traversing the trail without body damage greater than 95% ?

EDIT "scrapes" on the sliders and bumper are OK. I had to touch some of those up after Moab last year.

Without sliders you WILL damage your truck. Not having a locker might be a issue on last obstacle. Worst case you can get winched up, more like dragged up tho.

hmm will my long wheelbase be an issue? this would be my first time in the rocks. I don't have my Mid + T case skids yet, so if I get high centered I'll be busting stuff up.

Some will say it will. Its hit or miss. You will hit rocks at different times than other people. I.E. short wheelbase may be fighting two rocks, one on each axle, but because of your long wheelbase, your front will already be over the first rock. Only real downside is high centering, but if you keep the rocks on the sides where the sliders can do their work, your rear axle should be on the ground and you'll be fine.

I tell ya man, I haven't been on too many trails yet, but I have faith in my truck. Seth told me to give up on two different obstactles when we went out last year, instead I power braked the shit out of the truck and walked right over them.

With longer WB, your main issue would just be the last obstacle because you kinda have to hook left sharply. Depending on trail conditions, it can be done without too much drama. As far as high centering, just pick your lines and drive slow, there really is not any large boulders that will get you high centered on unless you want to try more technical lines. I wheeled stock all the way to the end one time with sliders. Turned around tho.

I work Saturdays. I might be up for it but not sure. If I don't hit slick rock this Sunday, I may take the day off and come out and wheel with you guys. If I do make it, so will my brother.

I'm negotiating with the boss. That's church festival weekend and I can kinda take it or leave it.

I'd rather go wheeling with you guys.
