I guess it doesn't really matter. I assume people want to hit up the trail on Saturday. If that's the case, then I'll drive up Friday afternoon/evening, we'll do the trail, then we can camp out Saturday night too.

But if people want to do the trail on Sunday, then I'll just drive up Saturday morning and leave Sunday after the trail.

So I guess the question is, do you guys want to hit up the trail on Saturday or Sunday? Maybe I'll start a poll :D

I might be able to make it. Do you for sure need sliders? Or can you do it without them if you take the bypasses?

Go weld on there is no bolt on option for the Runners at the moment. Also with the lead times you would not have the sliders by this trip sorry man.

giantsfan, I would pass on this one. You're at stock height still right? I've never been on this trail, but from all the pictures and everything I've read it's better to wait. No point in trashing your 4runner for one day. You could always cruise up with one of us and go to hang out. I will have extra room in my 4runner. I'm even nervous with 33's, Bud front skid and sliders.

I'm most likely going on this trip as Moab isn't panning out. I just don't have the cash for the Moab trip, so I'll be doing this one instead. I vote wheeling on Saturday because then I can make it back a bit earlier Sunday and have a day to potentially fix any issues that may come up before work the next day.

Dude you will be fine, just wheel smart and stay away from jerry.

with sliders 33s and skids it'd be pretty hard to fuck something up even if you tried. not many sharp rocks on that trail so your tires are pretty safe.

Only isssue you might has is alignment issues if any at all, just be aware of your surroundings, watch out for trees and boulders that come outta no where and take out windwos :D
