Man that would be fun. So bummed I'm missing this run. Oh well, just need to go up there later in the season.

Those of us who arrive on Friday probably could do it. We can just nap in the afternoon while we wait for folks to arrive. :p

Ha! I bet it looks sick! Does it cast a shadow of the 'Toyota'?? I see a future of badass night shots. Some day I'll buy lights...

btw, there's a gas station very close by at the bear valley ski resort, so folks dont reeeeeally need to bring extra gas.

But I usually fill up at Stockton, go all the way there, run the trail and fill up on the way home in Copperopolis, and still have extra gas in the tank

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
You can also top off in Arnold and still have a full tank at the trail head.

Won't be able to meet you early as planned - put in my 2 weeks notice, and forgot to account for my vacation day on the 20th (face palm). I'll still make it up on Friday, but probably won't be able to head out from Morgan Hill until 2:30ish.

The plus side of camping two weekends in a row i will just leave most of my gear in the truck. Less packing.

Lucky. Ive already gone twice in the last month. My wife and I just have two big bins for camping. Once bin has all the camping cookware and lights. One bin is empty but is for dry food. Then we have two coolers. When we go camping we just have to put the tent on the roof. Load the coolers and dry food bins. Pack a suit case and we are good to go.

Do we have a preference on food?

    Potluck on Saturday night?

On our own for everything else?

Just FYI, sandwiches are fantastic on Saturday on the trail and you'll need a semi-substantial mid afternoon snack.
