But in all honesty if my options were go with a pregnant wife who may want to go home early or not go at all. I would probably take my wife, but every pregnancy is different. If everything has been going well and she hasnt been sick at all I would bring her. If its been rough I would skip the trip or go alone.

Agreed, when it was "time," we actually went out in my ranger per her request to "speed" up the process. Just some light simple trails by the house.

Last time I was up there in the fall there was no AT&T service. Not sure about the others.

I'm leaving late and I've never been there. If I get lost in the dark. I'll just pop up the tent on the side of the road and wait till daylight.

Don't worry we won't get lost. And we won't ask for directions either, haha. Pretty much 100% sure my work is going to make me come in a half day Friday, so I'll be meeting up with you in Stockton.

Sounds good. I don't think we will get lost seems easy on the map. Plus I bet I can get MJ to turn his FRS on around 8:30 in case we do get lost or have trouble on the trail.

Once you make it to the trail you won't get lost you can't miss us and it's pretty simple to get in nothing too hard going to the site.

    No fee.

LOL you've been there before how are you going to get lost. IIRC there is no cell service.

Guys you won't get lost. Follow the directions in the OP and you'll be fine. In fact, here are the directions to the trailhead, verbatim from the Backroads book:

And then just follow the trail a little, and you'll find us along the trail

Just edited the OP with this info
