Another successful mod day. Thanks everyone for making it out. Jay - WOW awesome ribs. Thanks Blake for bringing the spring compressor and the beer stash. Stan and Mr. Bag of Dicks for the canopies :D. Thanks to Stan for staying until 11:30PM helping me get my commuter up an running. Big thanks to everyone for bringing a ton of food and drinks, and for helping other people out with their mods. A lot of people didn't even mod their trucks and came to help other people.

Haven't cleaned the garage yet, so I'll see what extra tools are laying around for people to claim. And thanks again for being generous with the tip jar guys :D

I had a great time meating* everyone and am looking forward to the next mod day so I can install all these new decals I got from the parts installed.

    The rub is a secret!

The sauce was new, so I don't mind sharing.

    Ketchup
    Apple cider vinegar
    Cherry juice
    Whiskey
    Apple sauce
    Paprika
    Salt
    Pepper
    Honey
    Molasses
And a splash of Newcastle, for good luck

As far as the quantities, I stopped measuring a while ago so I have no idea.

same, i just think about the flavors and see if they cancel one another out. that usually makes me decide to pull an ingredient or adjust quantity, but so far i've been pretty consistent in my flavors for rubs.
