NorCal: South-East Bay Mod Day #2 - 9/17/16

a little spring compressor so we dont need to use ratchet straps and disconnect the links next time.

 

UPDATE on this. EDDO brought up a good idea of having some type of South/East Bay co-op and buying this as a group. I talked the seller down to $500, and have a few people willing to chip in $50 each. I can put a good portion of the mod day tips toward this. If we get enough people, then we can make this happen and make it a lot easier for us to do suspension installs at future mod days. Of course people that pitch in will have access to it whenever they want, and I can just keep it at my place.

(btw - I myself probably won't see any use for the spring compressor, so this is really for our TW community)

Count me in for $50. I just bought a crappy spring compressor, but every time I walk by it in the garage it makes me nervous. Even if I only come use it once or twice the $50 will be covered. It's also a plus to have it available to the local community.

I'd go in on it, but I already tossed some in the pot at mod day lol. I've been eyeballing a wall mounted spring compressor for a bit now as well

Compressor has been picked and I'll be meeting @sytfu510 tomorriw for the drop off. This thing is massive, should handle 700 lb installs no problem.
