    I have been stumped twice on changing the frequency on the baofengs that have been programmed. So if you get it programmed, you better ask somebee.

    Press vfo/mr button to switch from frequency mode to programming mode and vise versa. That's for the uv5r.

    the people I know that do not want to look at the radio each time they transmit (mounted), hate that feature.

    I'm down to come by, I just picked up a Baofeng BF-F9. If someone can explain how to use/ program it, that'll be great. Maybe a quick intro into Ham radio class for mod day... I'll bring my own chair lol

    my intro is "give me your radio", then I lock it when I am done. I can actually show how to move frequencies from there incase someone is on 146.460 and you need to move to say 146.430. But if you want to do more than that basic stuff, time to take a class and watch a lot of youtube videos so you can master the lowtech.
