NorCal: South-East Bay Mod Day #2 - 9/17/16

Sorry, I should have specified,lol! any after market uppers. I'm running Icons on stock and need to take care of that asap.

 

I have Light Racing UCAs with brand new rebuild kit...

 

Ill help install any after market ucas that aren't light racing.

 

I'll do any install anyone wants/needs if I've done it before, that won't take allllllllllll day lol

Surprisingly @DannyBFresco 's LR UCA's install was hands down the quickest I've ever done. Maybe 15 minutes a side tops?

I think it took longer to get the tires off/on

 

Yeah, that took like 2 weeks because someone didn't have a wheel lock

 

The light racing suck. To much adjustability. Takes to long to get the wheels semi strait so it can go the alignment shop.

Oh yeah. Only one rule for mod day: Make sure you can drive your truck out before the end of the day

 

No RTT in the cul-de-sac?

 

I'd like to try and make it to just meet some of the locals, probably wont have my bumpers, sliders etc in time but we'll see... I can bring some drinks and sides to go with the main dishes or maybe a desert or two lol how much parking space is there going to be?

As far as space, I think we can fit ~15 in the garage/driveway/grass area. We just had a big turn out last time. Good thing is my grass is for sure dead (damn drought!) so we don't need tarps for the grass anymore. We shuffled rigs around when we needed to work on certain things. Otherwise, there's a pretty decent amount of room. The air compressor hose can reach the end of the driveway and farther out with another hose.

They were cool. I gave them a heads up last time and one of them offered their driveway for additional parking.

 

looking forward to meeting you guys! I was thinking it would be kinda cool to add a for sale/swap thing added maybe since it looks like a good number is going to show up... I know I have a few goodies some members might wanna jump on and im still trying to off load that snap on tool chest I have lol

 

@t4r4life can't come if he is bringing his Civic again...although he actually worked on it.

 

I might come through if I can get my hands on a set of sliders by then. Put me down.
