I'm doing the same exact thing, don't worry. You're not alone. Except all day today was the front yard; digging out crabgrass, spraying, rototilling, and mixing with new topsoil.. Bark chip/plants are tomorrow. But for now, an ice cold brewski

That's always nice! My dilemma is that my parent's invested in a second house in which I live in during college. Rather than pay for rent every month for 4 years. I'm are essentially flipping it while I live in it. A little "sweat equity" as my dad put it. Cool thing is I've had a bitchin' house for 4 years and I get to keep a portion of the profits!

I gotta admit at times though, Remodeling is frustrating haha

My son has the same toy. He plays with all that stuff. He likes the side that has the alphabet that spins and shows pics of animals on it.

    Thanks,

Haha yes, sometimes it sucks pretty bad. I don't usually mind learning stuff. My dad will teach me how to fix holes in the wall, properly painting stuff, minor electrical stuff and plumbing stuff. I try and help out as much as possible since he helps me with my truck a lot.

    Priorities man! Gears then party!

Does anyone know of anyone in the Petaluma/Santa Rosa Area with a base single cab 4WD 2nd Gen with a yellow "Don't tread on me" decal on the rear sliding window? I know it's a long shot, but I might want to buy his/her house. Thanks in advance for the help.

Since none of you knew offhand whose truck this was, I took matters into my own hand. It's Sarah from All Pro visiting us on vacation.

Oh yea, I'm best friends with drywall now. The entire west wall of my house was the old wooden panelling when I moved in. Needless to say I rippe that 70s crap out, insulated, dry walled, textured and painted pretty quick. My girlfriend always asks how I'm able to literally fix anything in the house. Electrical, structural, plumbing, yard, etc. I can definetly blame my dad for ALL of that. Growing up he was also making me help, teaching me things. And now I see why! I save soooo much money doing it myself.

I grew up with him rebuilding BMW's into race cars outta the garage. By the time I was 3 I could tell the difference between Phillips, flat, box end wrench, crescent wrench and a socket wrench haha.

Dads are the best! :thumbs up:

Haha my dad knows a lot too mainly because he grew up so dirt poor that they had to make and fix everything. My dad jokes about having to build his own room when he was growing up and I don't even know if he's kidding anymore. We drove by his old "house" and it was literally a shack in a dirt lot. The tree next to it was bigger than his house. Him and all his brothers grew up to be very well off since they had that desire to not keep living like that. My dad tried to get me to help him with his cars and stuff but I never wanted to until now :(.

Plan on doing my build with parts purchased through Tacoma World. Just getting started. On Vin's list for wheels. Found some slightly used rear Sway A Way shocks, paypal sent today. Here we go. Still looking for Sway A way front coil overs, a good leaf spring pack, light racing UCA's, and related items.[IMG]
