    You would be surprised.

    School zone?

My girlfriend used ticket assassin to get a speeding ticket dismissed - 62 in a 45.

Yes is was a school zone but the officer didn't cite it as such. (Road going through a college campus).

Ticket assassin doesn't really help with the 25mph range, but I have seen it work in cases of 30-65 range.

Backstory though incase anyone was wondering was I had just gotten out of an exam at 7pm and was about to start my spring break... Came out of the parking lot and noticed that the road was unusually deserted. Slammed the gas and once the truck reached peak RPMs I started downshifting, well before I even saw the cop on the side of the road.

Once I finally pulled over he came up with the radar gun and said he got me doing 48. He also said I was lucky because he felt he clicked the gun too early and could have gotten me doing 50+ (25 over).

He was a nice guy n all... Wrote it down to 44 so it's only 1 point that can be removed by traffic school. I don't mind having to pay the 300, I'm just happy my insurance won't go up.

I've been pulled over going much much faster and doing much stupider things and the cops have always been nice enough to just give me a warning... My stupidest moment was a 85 in a 35... I guess my luck just caught up with me, oh well.

I'll be the asshole that says it. It sounds like you deserve the ticket if you've been pulled over multiple times and went 85 in a 35...

Buttttt, I was recently cited for reckless driving and beat that ticket so best of luck if you try and fight it!

On another note-why the hell are dehydrated apples so delicious? My boss at work gave me bags and bags of them. I've been eating them nonstop :|

Unless you think you can outrun the cops, speeding is not an option, and if you think you can, blank plate, grind off vin and light switch ftw!!!!

Oh gawd. I think I'm in trouble. Something really bad is going to happen to me. I just know it.

I went to have some coffee and a little danish. But when I went to go for it, it looked kind of evil.

It has horns, red eyes and an evil grin. It kind of scared me and a friend of mine who is pretty faithful to God, told me to face my fears. So I got brave and stabbed it with a fork.

I felt pretty good about that until I realized it was now smiling...:eek::eek:

So I hurried up and shoved it in my mouth. I don't feel too good right now....:help:

Can someone school me on CB info for a setup I don't intend to use that often, mainly on TW meets and such? Where should I mount my antenna? What kind of antenna should I get? I'd like one that's removable so I don't have to have a 5' antenna or whatever flopping around 24/7. Would a uniden 520xl with a 4' firestik or something be ok?

Thats what I went with, you'll be fine with it. Get Jerry to sell you a through-the-tailgate antenna mount (if you ever want to have a topper on the bed)! or you can mount to the bed rails or I know someone on here has a hood mount (maybe Ian?)

Stupid question but does having the antenna mounted on the passenger side versus the drivers side with eric's hood hinge mount change anything? Would I just need a longer coax cable? Speaking of which, do most CB's or antennas come with one or do I need to pick up some separate?

It's probably better to put on the driver's side (wish I woulda done it that way) because trees and other stuff is more likely to hit on the passenger side. If you look at every 18 wheeler truck, they all have their CB antennas on the driver side on top of their mirror (unless they have dual antennas).

And yes you have to buy the coax cable separate. Measure out how much you need and try to get the exact amount, give or take a foot

Gotcha. Just ordered the hood mount and I'll order the CB and antenna tomorrow so I can measure it all out. Thanks MJ.
