Sounds like you've got a rough gig lol.

I've seen that black one, along with him there's a sheriff white extended cab - ARB, KM2s, lightforces. He's got one badass work truck.

It's probably just a mileage trigger for an oil change. That's what happened with my mom's '07.
You might be able to find someone to just check the code for cheap. The dealership charged me like $100 just to check my truck's code...and they had it for a few hours.

I thought that you just read the code with whatever and then reset it by disconnecting the battery for a bit or by pulling the ECU fuse for a bit. :notsure:

Yeah it was pretty freakin' ridiculous, but it was right during finals and I had a lot of stuff on my plate so I just did it so I didn't have to worry about it anymore.
    Thanks for the offer, though!

There are a few codes that won't clear just by disconnecting the battery. Don't remember offhand what those are.

But yeah, there's a difference between the MIL light and CEL light. The MIL just counts down the miles since it was last reset. Set Trip meter to ODO, hold trip reset button, turn key to On, release trip button after it finishes resetting. (This last paragraph not directed to you Jay)

Seen that truck many times. It's badass. If you ever see charcoal DCLB with a giant 49ers logo, 49ers plates, and gun mfr stickers, with gunmetal bfd wheels, It's me or my girl

At least someone is gettin it
