I did blue map lights, and it took me forever to get the bulbs out... those reflectors are ridiculous

Yup, that is what I was talking about. Shouldn't have been that hard changing out those tiny bulbs.

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
Use painters tape. You can wrap the bulb with it and pull em out. No need to take out the reflector. Makes it super easy

:eek:Lifted approx 2" front is now growling. Is it just my CV's not happy anymore. Checked for anything rubbing like dust sheild backing plates. Did coil overs only. No drop kit. alignment is in specs. Tires and wheels still stockers.

Sitting here getting the nail hole fixed.

Watching news and for you bicycle fans, Faber's in San Jose burned down last night. I know the owner had moved out of the building and hopefully, no one is in the building. Faber's was known for having tons of old bikes and parts and for helping out folks who couldn't afford it.

This morning a taco rolls over on 242/680 and lands on center divider. Looks pretty good for a rolled truck, doesn't it? YAY TACO!! :)

Had a nice drive up to Tahoe to visit Jason. Learned many things today.
-My truck sucks with these tires and gears. Passing people going uphill is damn near impossible
-Tahoe is beautiful and I wish to move up there one day
-My external res on my driver side was getting slightly mangled by my truck
-How a flutter stack works and how it effects compression/rebound on a shock
-My passenger side shock's nut is seized or cross threaded or something and couldn't come off so Jason re-valved my driver side shock for fun :D
-I can't look at his suspension without getting jelly
-My brake lights weren't working and Jason saved me a ticket or someone rear ending me and claiming it's because my lights weren't working
-If you travel far without your spare the stupid TPMS light flashes nonstop

Got home and tinkered with the LED's and got them all working except for one of the LED's in the top center brake lights. 2/3 LED's worked so I just stuck in an old normal bulb until I figure out why the LED is no good.

If you do decide to mess with that passenger shock, try loosening it with the truck at ride height (shock partially compressed).
And if you decide you want to revalve it to a .010 stack on compression, you'll need two sets of these: KRS-VS1025.

    http://www.polyperformance.com/shop/King-Valve-Shim-Kits-p-29161.html

And if you want a larger flutter, I've got only .012's

If you buy from poly, call and ask for tommy or email him and tell him you are a DR (desert rangers) member and you'll get 10% off.

Just bookmarked your post for later. Thanks :) I emailed west coast differentials just now and have to wait until Monday to hear from them. I'm going to see how much re gearing the front+rear would cost me and then decide if I want to say fuck it and do the rear locker as well. Can I have them install just the locker in the rear diff and not the lines/compressor? I'd rather do that myself. It wouldn't cause the locker to engage or anything randomly would it? I'm guessing no because it probably needs constant pressure from the compressor to engage but I want to be sure.

Oh and I think I'm going to just leave it as is for now until I get my longer shocks and talk to see if my buddy has time to measure for hoops with me.
