What size tire were you running?^^

And I guess while we're at it, it's a long shot! But does any one have a pic of their truck with a 1.5" in front, stock rear, 17s and over sized tires?

275 is probably the widest you can go without hitting the UCA's but in all reality, 265 is plenty. Each truck is a little different but doing a little trimming of mudflaps and plastic is not a bad thing!

It's on 17x8.5 method double standards. Not sure of the offset on them... But depending on that, it may help clear the uca as compared to a stock alloy?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1376840757.051892.jpg

But it still might hit the inside of the wheel well where the flaps mount. It happened on a turn. That was my issue.

Here is the pic of the front with the larger tires. You can't really tell by here but it rubbed the wheel well on the inside, on a turn even after I took off the flaps.

And if you are concerned with the stance, this is how it looks from the rear with the smaller tires. Mine are also 17x9 with -12 offset. Yes, I have a wider wheel and that most likely is the issue. I had to be sure that the tires were approved for that width as well because you don't want the tire to be too narrow for the wheel.

Yep, mine currently rub a smidge on hard turns right where the mudfap covers the cab mount. Beforehand it was also rubbing the front flap, I just pulled that crap off.

Here is what it looks like with the smaller tires all the way around. Doesn't look TOO out of proportion. LOL!

With your 1.5 lift and narrower wheels, you may be able to get away with the larger tires. I was able to return mine for the smaller ones with no penalty and I put maybe 200 miles on them. You can always test fit them, right?

265/75/16 like I said, rubs just a smidge. I figure the tires will rub off any excess plastic on the guards it needs to eventually. Haha or if it starts to irritate me enough I may just trim it a little myself.

Right on, I think it'll be okay. It's not a full plate bumper all the way around so you're saving some weight. Eric, (ortlie09) is running his brute force hybrid off 5100's @1.75. and he's doing fine.

I'm still debating that wheel offer. I just wanna find out how much of a hassle painting them would be, and trying to picture them all black. haha.
