Just pickup the cans, its cheaper and you only need maybe 2-3. I sprayed my roof to hide the fading with 2 and the second can was only to make it super thick. Fj roofs are larger so I would say 3 would be perfect with extra. Then again I spray different than the instrauctions, I stay a lot lighter and use less coats. Holds up the same or better imo.

Thanks guys, I knew Aaron used electric sprayers and had to thin it out which kinda scared me because he said something about running into issues because of it but he made it work. I'll probably shoot with my compressor, now just a matter of do I thin it out to save cash

If you can spring for it, get an Iwata LPH-400/500 w/ 1 3.mm nozzle. These have been reviewed as the best for consistent spray pattern but they're a pretty penny, around 350-500.

Iwata also just released a cheaper model w/ a plastic cup called the "Air Gunsa" for ~120. They're recommended for primers, but they work just as well as with base coats and clears from what I've read.

Scratch that. I'm reading the Air Gunsa sucks a bit since it oversprays.

you'll also need to properly thin it 50/50 with either naptha or xylene.

Exactly what I said, front looks like a stang...rear like a camaro, so you spend 3 mil making a 200k dollar car into two 40k dollar cars

Calaveras would be a dice roll. It is pretty close and it would all depend on wind direction/weather the day you went.

Was out there today. Google map Calaveras and look south east for Cherry lake. Lots of smoke in that area and it was pushing up north along the mountain range (have fun Tahoe/Reno folks).

I'd play it safe and head up highway 12/101 towards thru Napa towards Humboldt. Lots of cool stuff up that way as well.

I meant in the move, weren't you already from the Sacramento area? I just ask because I moved too far away from Fremont :(

Took the spacers out of my lift. Now just running the 885x's on 5100s. Sitting at 24-24.25 Hub to fender. MUCH softer ride. I was maxed out before and the ride sucked.

    Not anymore

    ...too much shit to list.
Flew right over the rim fire earlier. You could actually see the red from the flames peaking thru the smoke.

This picture you can see both fires. Off in the distance is the American fire.

Did you actually take the spacer out and replace the long bolts? Or did you cheat like me and just move them outside of the strut :D

Nope, I didn't wanna mess with my janky Mcpherson strut compressors.. lol

I actually was able to get the nuts down close enough to only need a small washer on each bolt instead of the huge lift spacer. Looks stock now ;)

Now just time to get new tires and fill this gap:D

Thanks for all the recommendations, we ended up going to Armstrong Redwoods, pretty nice little area then stopped at the Korbel Cellars (50% off Champagne and Wine for military and 25% off merchandise), got 3 different Brandys which I think I convinced the person to give me their employee discount since the military one didn't cover brandy.

I think I will end up going and checking out Big Basin on my own sometime though.
