I had the same thing happen to me at the Honda dealer in Burlingame, they insisted that the pad was so gone tha it was about to fall off. I had just replaced them myself about three months prior. I used those pads till i sold it a few years later.

 

Just got hired at folsom lake toyota today as a lube tech. haha

 

I have a good mechanic i use for anything i can't do, but if i need something done quick/alignment/tires i USSR les schawb sp?

 

You wanna lube my shaft?

So my boss had a stroke and is having heart issues. He might need a heart transplant. He finally got his computer and he took a pic of himself with all the tubes and he says hello on fb because everyone is worried about him.

A friend of ours gets on there and says "The fish are waiting for you"

I was like WTF!

So I got on there and yelled at the guy (as much as you can yell in capitals).

Then suddenly I realize he meant FISHING. My boss likes to fish.

I thought he meant the fish were waiting for my boss as fish food......

 

Holy crap BT! Hope your boss doesn't need all the upgrades they're suggesting.

Here's hoping he's on the road to recovery real soon!

I walk my dog pretty much every day. Often in the same place. Usually have a cup of coffee while we're walking.

By the end of our walk, my cup usually looks like this:

I wrote the company on the cup and was put in touch with the manager of the local cafe. He replied that he'd work to encourage their customers to be more careful (all but one cup in this picture came from one place).

Anyway, to make a long story short, it worked. It's been a couple of months and there's a lot less to pickup lately. I took a minute to send a note to the cafe manager thanking him for whatever he did.

Just takes a minute.

 

You're right Ian, it doesn't take much. And if we all do a little bit, the impact would be great.

Thanks for caring, Ian. I just picked up some trash in front of the BMW dealership yesterday. So many people passed it up. Yes it was just a plastic bag and some other stuff but it didn't take a whole lot of effort for me to pick it up and throw it away.

 

If this rain doesn't let up - I'm gonna have a heck of a time grilling all the chicken I got to bbq tonight.
