Lots of people run it in motorcycles and turbo'd cars as well. I ran it in my STi for a while after building my motor.

Not rushing, but I'm always impatient for paint to dry. That's where I am now. Heating the second one again to remove the remaining adhesive out of the channel (just finished doing that on the first).

And 10 minutes is BS. When it's in the 40s and the headlights are cold, I think it takes a couple minutes extra just to get them up to room temp. 12 minutes has been perfect.

Yes it is. It also carries the same certifications as gas engine oil.
I came from mobile 1 synthetic

Mobil 1 is crap. But yea, if you run Rotella Synthetic Blend T5 5W-30 in some turbo cars, it ended up sheering after 1k and started to smoke, so some folks people would run T6 Full Synthetic 5W-40 and it lasted a lot longer. Pennzoil Platinum (a synthetic blend) does pretty well on turbo cars too. That's what I'll be running after my free oil changes are done.

This is now even more interesting to me. I have been running Mobile 1 for 100,000 miles with no problems, but wouldn't ever complain about something better.

Taking the pickup in to the dealership for another pinion bearing issue. This will be the 2nd time in 12,000 miles. Good thing I got the extended warranty. Makes me wonder if I just got a crappy rearend from the factory or these thing need to be worked on every 12k miles?
    Damn frustrating .

    Thanks,

    Brett
