That sucks!!!! Sorry to hear that, I'll keep my eyes open, there is hope. Someone else had their truck stolen and it was later found in oakland mostly ok condition from what I remember.

It occurred to me that finding the wiring in the condition you did could indicate the thief was interrupted the previous night. Might be worth asking neighbors if they saw any suspicious activity on that night. Also, might be worth asking who has security cameras and if so, if there's anything interesting on the DVR.

We all pretty much know each other here and we all watch each other's houses and cars and such but we do have one neighbor that has shady people come to visit them. As a matter of fact, that night when I was coming home, I saw two guys who definitely do not belong here, walking out of our court, fast.

I have a feeling my dogs might have disrupted the wiring thing because my dogs are in the house at nights and they were barking up a storm. But sometimes they do that because our other neighbor lets their little dogs out to run around so I figured the little yip yips were just out again.

Didn't see anything of the stolen truck today...
I did see an old 80's long bed DOUBLE CAB 5-lug mini truck in Oceanside/Leucadia. That was crazy! Snapped some photos, I'll upload those later. Looked a bit like this but with a long bed, too:

 

I saw one similar and almost freaked out, she deserves her truck back if anyone does!

 

I have never seen one of these. Did they make a 4 dr 4wd as well.That would be a sweet project truck.
