I don't think I'd do anything to it. Just place it in the case as-is.

Man that music at the beginning made it seem like a montage that was going to end in you laying it down and saying RIP motorcycle Hahaha. Footage looks good though!

Anyone know of a local shop that rebuilds icon/Donohue racing coil covers locally? If not there headed to icon this week.

Not a local shop, but even with shipping it wasn't that bad for a full rebuild to include new shafts (due to pitting).

Kurt was very easy to work with. Just my two cents.

Emailed, very quick reply, prices for everything including shafts beat prices of Icon for just the base rebuild. Appreciate the information! Will be working with him.

Icon is $125 a shock, he quoted me $75 a shock, shafts are $50 a shock. So in total, yes $250 all said and done, and icons $250 without shafts. Sold. Especially considering I bought these for $250 Hahaha.

Why not do it yourself? It looks pretty straight forward. I was going to do mine, but got a really good deal on some Eibachs/5100 and sold the donahoes to fund tires. It will save you probably $75-100 considering no shipping.

Thought about it, but right now working 50hr weeks and being a full time student I just want them said and done. I'm going to have to ask for a weekend off just to do the install Hahaha.

That being said, who has the talent to do rear wheel bearings and seals here ;) I'm in need... just found a sweet skunk stripe around my fender liner a couple days ago.

Other that simple cleaning of the surface dirt and grime I would leave it be.

I found these on Ebay and they say they are for a 1st gen, but those are definitely 2nd gen Camburgs. Good price too even if they need a rebuild. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Camburg-Eng...Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a3b3a2658&vxp=mtr

True, it will take a weekend to replace for a first time. What are you doing for the rear lift? Those Donahoe's go on so easy when installing them, it shouldn't take long to install.

Dealt with this a few months ago. I ended up finding a pair of complete axle shafts for $50 and replaced the one I needed. That way I have a spare set I can rebuild on my time if it fails again. Jerry at BAMF might be able to help with the pressing if you're close enough, but he is busy.
