I love Gabe's random f'd up customer stories daily... makes me feel more normal. I got my Kriss Vector from him, 2 Springfield XD's in olive drab, a marinecoat pistolgrip mossberg JIC, MP22 from him. Hell, he used to live around the corner from me and I never had time off I could make it to the shop during the week, so when I needed more mags or accessories, he would bring my shopping list home and I would swing by. He can find pretty much anything you are looking for, and as long as you aren't an asshat, he will take great care of you. And yea, during ammo scare days, he was the only place I could always get ammo...

Drinking of course... I went to pick up my regular shipment, and they had 40% off 3 or more cases, so we added 5 cases to the mix. Champagne goes quickly, as does wine/beer. I have a large stockpile. It's kind of like ammo, you can't have too much.

Impulse bought one on that group buy, it's pretty damn cool but besides being able to see my average and current mpgs and tank level, I didn't necessarily need it. It's pretty nifty and looks cool in the corner of my dash but it's more of a "look at what I have" type thing. It will be nice to check cl lights though...

Its nice to know exactly what speed I'm going since my tires are bigger than stock. The only time it was really helpful was when I removed it to read a buddy's code while in the woods. I could live without it but its more of a "why not" type of gadget.

From what I read the in cab temp is shotty, considering it's reading off of a device with a screen emitting heat and it's black haha. I got the newest ultra gauge, does smog readiness which is kind of cool, and does 1/4 mile, 1/8 mile, 0-100, 100-0 etc... so I can pretend I'm a race car driver....

    Wrecked!

I sold mine ! I hated seeing how shitty my mpg's are with all the extra weight and lift. Lol . It just wasnt very useful to me. I thought i could recalibrate the spedo with it but it dosnt do that. You cand calibrate it to show you a more accurate speed and milage but the speedo stays the same.:( all the other gages it has i just didnt care for. But it was nice to see what was going on and resold it for a small loss so it was worth the purchase.

Hit the 40th annual Molina Ghost Run this weekend. Had a great time-didn't drive the truck once :)

    Talked MattGecko into going too.

Casey busted the transfer case within 10m of unloading it. Fixed it again and...

This was the last place it ran. Came down on the top of this obstacle and the t-case broke again...Casey hopped out only to have it roll backward and hit the bottom of the obstacle.

They got it rolled over and towed back to camp.

Had a few Yotas. Including Troy from Superior 4WD.

    Great weekend wheeling.

Oh, also learned that the Northern California Backroads book is being re-printed. It'll have a better binding and will include both Northern and Southern California.
