I haven't been out all summer except one backpacking trip cause my tranny was shot, but it's all good now! We had actually been planning a camping trip this month for my bday. I'm good with anywere also, I would say somewhere in a National Forrest but due to fire restrictions we wouldn't be able to have a fire. Who want to drink without a fire!?

I'll see if she wants to go. How's your dog with others? mine are a bit crazy at first but calm down. One reason I would suggest blue lakes is there are areas we can let them run around and not have to worry about ticks and poison oak. Not sure about ice house though.

Exact same. He's almost 2 yrs old. Hyper until he relaxes and then he's fine. Not aggressive or anything. Lets look at blue lakes! I'm down. Never been there.

I'm sure theyll be happy to have a friend around, they might get too much but they can stay on leash. They aren't aggressive either but two are terrier mixes so they get a bit rough playing sometimes, the other just wants her ball. Ian might also have some suggestions hint hint ian:D

I camped up at Blue Lakes last week. Seems like there is a lot of areas to explore up in that area. I will definitely go back.
I dunno about strippers up there but I do have a pic from last week that seems appropriate. The Nipple:

haha I'm just trying to get out with some guys and get some camping done this summer. My girl is having her bachelorette party that weekend, and I had a failed attempt at a bachelors party. I'm just trying to get out and chill, figured we can get a group and go relax somewhere!:D

If it weren't for lack of bathrooms and campfires, I'd point you guys to a lot of good spots near Blue Lakes. Take a drive out to Indian Valley if you end up there. About a half mile before the road dumps into the T at the lakes, there's an information booth on the right and a paved road (for about 100') that goes off to the left (shortly after you cross the Pacific Crest Trail): Sunset Lake Rd. That road goes out to a few lakes. Toward the end, there's a road off to the right that goes out to Wet Meadows Reservoir. When you hit that valley (you'll know it when you see it), hang a right and there are some camping sites after you drive through the creek. Hang a left to go out to the reservoir. That valley is where I took this pic (and this is just above the first campsite after the creek):

Good info, no bathrooms isn't a problem for me, i prefer the woods to a camp bathrooms:D. I figure though we'll want a fire but if others are OK with non i'm good with that too. I've got a couple lanterns we can pretend are can pretend is a fire.

As to shooting out there, might not be a good idea, don't want to start any fires. I'll give them a call and see what they say.
