It's an 89 Toyota Pickup. I got some stuff done to it.. FJ axles going under it soon.
3 beers later, some cussing at the truck, and 3 cigarettes..finally got another set of rock lights installed.

Was getting voltage drop across power wires at end..guess you can't use 10G on a 12ft run for Walmart lights.
The 10G was already ran for something else...so thought I'd try it.
Had to re-run 14G...then they started working..but were dim.

Realized it was a shitty ground..some sanding and bam got them working.

    ;)

haha, gotta do what you gotta do. I installed foglights into my bed, and didn't have enough of the 16g wire to reach the battery (because they were meant to be on the front of the truck). So I ended up using 10g speaker wire :p. it works perfectly fine for me. haha.

I used the 14G that came with the kit.

Actually it was 16G my bad..
It barely had enough..I had to splice in like 18" more to get it through the firewall and into the switch..

There driving lights, don't think they were designed to be at the back of the truck where my spare tire is suppose to be.

Now I just need 2 more sets for the middle.

4 set's total. Oh yeah! 8 lights total! AWWWW YEAHHHH.

BTW, when I was hooking up the switch to the rear lights..I ended up hitting the ground strap connector on the power to the front lights..oops. Blew the shitty china bus fuse. At least it did it's job..
So now I have no front lights..

Lol like a boss. This is what I ended up with. Looks pretty good in my opinion... and my speaker wire/power wires are all taped up under the truck :D haha. No harm, no foul

They're Halogen, so it's good enough for me haha. 17 dollars installed. Not a bad mod. And they fit right over the top of the AirBedz mattress I picked up off SierraHsky ;)

The LED's are slimmer and look cooler though! ;)
Then you can take those and add them to the bottom.

I actually need to buy 3 more sets of those lights at Wallyworld.
    2 for middle rock lights.
1 set to convert to HID then mold into a bumper when I get one..for tailgaters.
Fuck with me now! COME ON BRO..YOU MAD?:)
How you like 6K of fucking lights in YO FACE!!!

Who needs to drive?! As long as you can see underneath just let the winch do the rest ;).

This would be awesome since it's dark in my bed with the tonneau on, and some for backing up into my driveway at night would be helpful. I wired up a timer with low voltage landscape lights on the driveway, but I'd still like to have some on the truck anyway. Gotta wait until I have more money though. I think it would be a good project for a mod day since I'm hesitant on wiring switches and getting to a good power source (for the bed lights...rears would be easy as I could just tap into the tow wiring). Maybe it'll be something I can do next spring.

I have to own a winch to be able to do that first.

Maybe I should get the truck running first..

Get truck running or purchase winch and rule the trails?
