Is it done yet? haha. Im hoping they know what they are doing when they remove the winch, offroad lights, and plate bumpers. They said they could handle it.

I have the 40 shield, I do like it a lot although if I could do it again I would get the 9mm. I have a glock 27 also and the .40 is much easier to control in that platform, the shield feels nearly half as thick as the glock. If you intend to carry I would seriously consider the 9mm. If not get the 40 like I did because bigger is always better haha

How hard would it be to replace my stock tank with a slightly larger one thatll increase my range?

My commute is 120 miles a day and i have to fill my tank every 2 days.

I dont want to get another car right now for just commuting

I've seen it done. It's kind of a pain.

You can add a second tank, or replace the tank with a custom larger one. Those are spendy, though.

Either way, you need to relocate your spare, as the larger tank uses space that the spare currently occupies.

Probably the easiest solution is just to get used to buying gas more often.

    ...too much shit to list.
It's easy. Just backhalf the truck, 4 link or triangulated 3 link it and run a center mounted 30+ gallon fuel cell and dual spares. :D

There was a guy in Nipomo that I just got an ARB off of and he was removing a 30 gal tank that fits in the bed. It is an auxiliary tank and feeds into the main tank by a switch I believe. If you're interested I can give you his number.

Nope, I got down there and the guy mentions the mounts were cut...would have been nice to know that before. I would have offered less, but only had large bills, so I bought it anyways. I looked into new mounts but they are $200 and 6-8 weeks out. A friend is going to help with welding some new brackets and just welding it onto the frame. Should have it on next week if all goes well.

It's beat up, but I was going to cut it up anyways as I hate the hoops and trim the lower portion for better angles.

If anyone knows someone looking for a cheap running car my grandpa is getting rid of 2 cars for 1500 each. 97 Sebring convertible with 126k, paint is rough but runs great. Taurus same deal, paint isn't the best but runs great and interior is nice.

First time I've seen a TW sticker locally. When I see you you're always going the opposite way. :D

Think im just gonna skip on the tank idea and get myself a Datsun 510 or 240/260z.
I think a 5k budget should be enough.
