Jimmy that 30" still up for sale? My old bar, also made very much not in the usa, is pretty much a goner now. So much condensation behind the lens it looks like a fishbowl...

Think im just gonna go to Sears and buy the tires for 235 a piece. Not too many other places are offering much of a price difference and even Tire Rack theyre 200 a piece.
    Im too impatient.

What tire and size are you looking for? Discount tire direct has been awesome when I used them and you don't have to pay sales tax. They get delivered to your door in about 3-4 days after ordering and all you have to do is get them installed.

Met up with Jerry this morning and picked up his bed rack, it didn't quite jive with my bed cage so we had to get creative with some ratchet straps! Thanks again Jerry!

After that I headed to Fairfield to meet up with Ferny and drop off some light bars for him and Felipe. Enjoy fellas!

    Mine?
Dude I've been there and done that 3 times already. I bought this bar used about 4 years ago and it was already pretty trashed. The seal was garbage to begin with, Half the bolts holding the faceplate on are stripped, or gone. I've re-soldered it, re-sealed it, and hit it with about 3 tubes of silicone sealer. I think it's seen it's day.

Once i get something to replace it, it'll be free fifty free to anyone who wants it :)

    ...too much shit to list.
So yeah. 100+ MPH wind gusts and tsunami force torrential downpour rain do not mix well with large Tahoe trees. My buddy called me in a panic earlier and said two trees were about to fall on his house. He had called every tree service in Tahoe and the fire department, and they all said...fuck that, it's raining or didn't answer. I grabbed the chainsaw and every last tow strap and D-ring I owned and my old snowboard gear and booked it up to the top of Kingsbury. If there ever was an "oh fuck me" moment in my life...it was when I pulled up.

By the time I got there one tree had snapped and fell on his house. Broke one of the upstairs windows and peeled some siding. Not terrible. But the other tree...aimed right at the front door and kitchen window...and twice the size of the other tree. The tree was angled about 20 degrees and uprooting more by the minute. You can see the dirt from the uprooting in the picture below. Every gust of wind made my sphincter pucker harder than any oh shit moment I've had in my truck.

Wrapped the tree with one strap as high as we could get it and anchored it with his truck. Went to town with the chain saw. Last 2" the chain snagged and the tree popped off the trunk and sunk into the dirt. Wrapped my last strap around the base and used my truck the opposite direction to sweep the tree. 4 low...locked front and rear. 4 wheel burnout trying to time it in between traffic up 237. Tree fell nearly perfectly barely clipping the house with zero additional damage (outside what was already done by the previous tree).

I'd love to say I got all kinds of cool pictures and video...but that was the farthest thing from my mind. But the aftermath pictures are below. Allegedly his neighbor got it on video...if I get it I'll post it up later. You can see the angle of the stump below...which is actually significantly less than with the weight of the tree gone. Kind of a shame...counted the rings and it was exactly 100 years old.

I will say...general population in today's society are FUCKING RETARDED! The movie Idiocracy is quite literally coming true. It's pouring ass rain and we had an audience or assholes and retards just watching. One dip shit stopped and had his phone out taking video. But the moron was literally in the "drop zone." I politely walked up to him and made the old "roll the window down" hand signal and asked him if he was here to help or if he just had down syndrome. He got all pissed and sped away. But I digress...

I heard that this storm was suppose to be 100mph winds and rain. That is nuts. Glad you guys are ok.
